DY Series Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Equipment

    Product Description
    Equipment Overview

Reverse osmosis is a membrane separation technology that utilizes the selective permeability (semi-permeability) of a membrane with pressure as the driving force. When the pressure applied to the system exceeds the osmotic pressure of the feed solution, water molecules continuously pass through the membrane, flow through the product water channels into the central tube, and then exit at one end. Impurities in the water, such as ions, organic matter, bacteria, and viruses, are retained on the feed side of the membrane and discharged at the concentrate outlet, thereby achieving the goal of separation and purification. The reverse osmosis equipment treats raw water through fine filters, granular activated carbon filters, and compressed activated carbon filters, then pressurizes it via a pump. It utilizes reverse osmosis membranes (RO membranes) with a pore size of 1/10,000μm (equivalent to 1/6,000 the size of E. coli, or 1/300 the size of a virus), to convert high-concentration water into low-concentration water. At the same time, it completely isolates industrial pollutants, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities mixed in large quantities with the water, thereby meeting specified physical and chemical indicators and hygiene standards to produce crystal-clear, pure water. Since the purity of water produced by RO reverse osmosis technology is the highest among all water treatment technologies currently available to humans, with a purity level approaching 100%, this type of water production equipment is commonly referred to as a reverse osmosis water purifier.

    System Composition

Typically, the equipment consists of a raw water pump, chemical dosing unit, quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, precision filter, high-pressure pump, reverse osmosis membrane elements, membrane housings (pressure vessels), and support frame. Its primary function is to remove impurities from the water, ensuring the treated water meets usage requirements.
